3/4 c. butter, softened
3 oz cream cheese, softened
1 c. white sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 3/4 c flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
assorted food coloring
Mix all ingredients (except food coloring). Divide dough into fourths and color each piece. Roll into small balls and put in freezer for about ten minutes. Take one ball of each color, slightly roll together into a bigger ball, then roll into a snake, and swirl/twist into a snail-like cookie. Bake at 350 for 8 minutes.
