- 9 Cups play sand, really fine
- 3 Cups Cornstarch
- 21/2 Cups Water
Mix the play sand with cornstarch. Then add water, starting with 2 1/4 cups and continue adding the other 1/4 cup until you have the desired consistency. Mix well.
Be careful not too add too much water, but you can experiment with the ingredients a little until you get the texture or consistency you like. You can store this is a covered container until next time, but you may have to add a few teaspoons of water to get it back to your desired consistency.
Crayola makes really fine play sand, so check that section of your store.
