2/3 C. Water
4 T. Meringue Powder
9 C. Powdered Sugar
1 1/4 C. Solid Shortening
3/4 tsp. Salt
1/4 tsp. Almond Extrace
1/2 tsp. Vanilla
Combine water and meringue powder, whip at high speeds until peaks form. Add 4 cups powdered sugar, one cup at a time. Beat at low speed after each cup. Alternately add shortening and remaining sugar. Add salt and flavorings. Beat al low speed until smooth. Can be used for frosting cakes and for borders and other piping.
