Stromboli

Make your dough from scratch or use the frozen Rhodes dough loafs. You will need enough dough for about 1 loaf of bread. Let your bread rise, just as if you were making a loaf of bread. When it's ready, punch it down, and roll out maximum size into a rectangle. Spread a thin layer of mustard onto the dought. Layer your meats and cheese two times in the center. Then fold the top and bottow of the dough over the meat and cheese. Pinch the ends to prevent the cheese from escaping as it bakes. Bake for 20 minutes at 400 degrees. Remove from oven, spread melted butter on the loaf, then bake for an additional 10 minutes. Remove from oven and cut into desired serving size pieces. Serve with sauce, if desired. For me, the sauce was good, but not necessary to complete the meal, very much an optional item.
