- 1/2 Cup Mayo
- 2 Cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 T. Oil
- 1 lb. steak of your choice, cut into thin strips
- 1/2 green bell pepper, cut into strips
- 1/2 red bell pepper, cut into strips
- 1/2 small onion, sliced into rings
- salt and pepper to taste
- 4 kaiser or hoagie rolls, split lengthwise
- shredded cheese
In a small bowl, combine mayo and minced garlic. Cover and refrigerate. Preheat oven to 500 degrees F. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Saute beef until lightly browned. Stir in peppers and onion, season with salt and pepper. Saute until vegetables are tender and meat is done according to preference. Remove from heat. Spread each bun generously with garlic mayo. Divide beef mixture onto the buns. Top with shredded cheese. Place sandwiches on a baking pan and bake in preheated oven until cheese is melted and rolls are toasted.
