Hamburger Soup

  • 1 lb. ground beef, cooked
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 5-6 Cups water
  • 5-6 tsp. beef boullion
  • 1 packet onion soup mix
  • 1 can (15 oz) kidney beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 can (14 oz) stewed tomatoes*
  • 2 carrots, sliced thin
  • 1/2 onion, sliced thing
  • 1/2 Cup corn kernels
  • 1 tsp. Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 Cup (al dente) cooked pasta

Combine all ingredients together in a large pot or crockpot. Simmer until vegetable are tender. Serve piping hot with crackers or roll.

* I use fresh tomatoes from my garden. To prepare: wash, cut an X in the bottom, blanch for 30 seconds, peel skin, squeeze out seeds, then chop flesh and add to soup.
