- 1 Cup Flour
- 1 1/2 tsp. Baking Soda
- 1 Cup Milk
- 1 1/2 tsp. Salt
- 1 tsp. Garlic Powder
- 1 tsp. Onion Powder
- 1/2 tsp. Pepper
Whish all ingredients together, then add chicken or steak. (Cut chicken into cubes or slice steak into strips.) Marinate the meat in the batter for about a half hour – I usually just let it marinate while my oil is heating. Fry in oil until dark brown and meat is cooked through. (Chicken to about 180 degrees or steak according to how done you like it.)
