Salsa

  • 6 lbs. 6 oz. canned tomatoes (can use whole or diced)
  • 1-2 small onions (according to taste)
  • 1 bunch of cilantro
  • 4-8 large cloves of garlic (according to taste)
  • 1/2-4 jalapenos* (according to taste)
  • 2-4 T. lime juice (according to taste)
  • 1 1/2-2 tsp. salt (according to taste)

Chop all ingredients and mix in a bowl. Using a blender/food processor works great. Start with the lowest amount of all ingredients, then taste and add more of each according to your taste. Store in a covered bowl in refrigerator or can in jars.

*With or without seeds, seeds make it hot!
